KATHERINE (TINA) GIESBRECHT Tina Giesbrecht, aged 78 years, of Eastview Place, Altona, and formerly of Halbstadt, Man., passed away at the Altona Hospital on April 9, 2001. Tina will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband Jake P. Giesbrecht; two sons, Glenn (Lesly) Giesbrecht of Edmonton, Alta., and James (Eva) Giesbrecht of Halbstadt; also be eight grandchildren. Tina was predeceased by one son Wes Giesbrecht in 1990. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church in Altona, Man., with interment to follow in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Thursday, April 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, April 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
